Welcome to Daily Miracles, a running commentary on the 365 lessons of A Course in Miracles, an influential spiritual text from the 1970s. I am James Leroy Wilson and I invite you to join me as I go through this material for the first time.

Lesson 58’s review:

(36) My holiness envelops everything I see. (ACIM, W-58.1:1)

(37) My holiness blesses the world. (ACIM, W-58.2:1)

(38) There is nothing my holiness cannot do. (ACIM, W-58.3:1)

(39) My holiness is my salvation. (ACIM, W-58.4:1)

(40) I am blessed as a Son of God. (ACIM, W-58.5:1)

The word I keep thinking of is “joy,” mentioned under 37.

Liberation from fear, guilt, illusions, deprivation, and suffering brings inner peace, but what is the external expression of that peace? Joy.

It’s joyful people who light up a room.

It’s joy which brings the confidence to accomplish all kinds of things.

It’s through joy and its optimism that others are encouraged.

Joy replaces illusions with what is “real,” and it is through joy that others, that the world, is blessed.
